Yellowstone and Teton National Park

Yellowstone and Teton National Parks are roughly an hour apart by car from the southern boundary of Grand Teton National Park to Yellowstone National Park on outer Highway 26/89/191 without any stops.

It is a shorter distance from the top of Jackson Lake, the northern border of Grand Teton. The scenic John D. Rockefeller Memorial Parkway joins the two parks in just 31 miles by car.

Fees and or passes for the park

The Yellowstone National Park fees are:

Seven-day Passes

  • Private vehicle is $35
  • Motorcycle or snowmobile is $30
  • Individual (by foot, bicycle, ski, etc.) is $20/person

The annual pass is $70.00

Vehicles with a capacity of 16 people or more that are noncommercial is $20/person

Commercial Tours

  • Commercial Sedan (1-6 seats) is $25, plus $20/person
  • Commercial Van (7-15 seats, regardless of occupancy) is $125
  • Commercial Mini Bus (16-25 seats, regardless of occupancy) is $200
  • Commercial Motor Coach (26 or more seats, regardless of occupancy) is $300

Fees for Grand Teton park

Grand Teton Entrance Fee – Private Vehicle – $35.00

Grand Teton Entrance Fee – Motorcycle – $30.00 for 7 days

Grand Teton Entrance Fee – Hiker/Biker – $20.00 for 7 days

Commercial Entrance Fees

Seating capacity of 1-6 is $25 PLUS $20 per person

Seating capacity 7-15 is $125

Seating capacity 16-25 is $200 and 26+ is $300.

Available passes are described below:

Grand Teton Annual Pass – $70.00

Interagency passes include:

  • Annual Pass: $80
  • Annual Military Pass: Free*
  • Annual Fourth Grade Pass for US students in fourth grade: Free
  • Annual Senior Pass: $20
  • Lifetime Senior Pass: $80
  • Lifetime Access Pass: Free
  • Annual Volunteer Pass: Free (250 hours of volunteer service at any of the six participating federal agencies is required)
